MOVIE SYNOPSIS

‘Mumbai Mirror’ is a cop-drama film, which with its unique screenplay also falls in the genres of suspense and action. The protagonist of the film is Abhijeet Patil (Sachiin Joshi), a police officer; and the film revolves around his rise and fall. Unlike most protagonists who play cops, Sachiin's character is not a good guy. He is someone who though being a man of law, lives by his own law. Whether it is encounter killing, drugs or dance bars, he does any activity -- legal or illegal -- that he wants to, without fear of anyone. In fact one of his dialogues in the film is: Mera ek hi Usool hai, ki koi usool mat banayo warn todna padta hai."

Ultimately the film becomes a tussle between good and bad. The film is packed with killer dialogues, dhaasu fights, and songs that will have you humming.

He is the most influential man in the city, with his chain of restaurants and bars; and his political connections. No one dares to mess with him. He runs all his illegal activities without any trouble. Abhijeet Patil decides to teach him a lesson. He makes her one of the important players in his fight against Abhijeet.

ACP Gaitonde – MAHESH MANJREKAR

Abhijeet believes that he is his well-wisher but little does he know that his uncle is actually working for Shetty.

 ADITYA PANCHOLI –DURRANI

An influential man, he single handedly manages the betting circuit of the city, but he is also much more than the king of bookies.

PRASHANT – PRASHANT NARAYANAN

Prashant is an IPS officer, who made it to the top the hard way around. With no influences and relatives backing him, he has been fighting his battle single handedly. He is an officer on desk, the one not allowed to go on missions or encounters. He envies Abhijeet for being let out wild and free in the big bad world. But he gets his own back.

 Jia - Vimla Raman

 Rani - Zara

She begins her journey as Shetty's weapon and as a key person in his scheme to ruin Abhijeet. But halfway into the dirty schemes of Shetty, her love for her ex-flame, Abhijeet is rekindled and she realizes that she doesn't want to betray him. She tries to make up for the damages that she has incurred and even goes to Abhijeet to convince him about the change in her. But it’s too late, she has already lost the trust he once had in her. Dejected and lost, despite her plea of change, she goes back to Shetty and traps Abhijeet. She lures him into the Shetty's bar where the final gang war takes place. But in the end, when the time demanded, she happily sacrifices her own life to repay for the mistakes she had committed and saves Abhijeet's life. Thus Rani, though tainted at times is a true woman and the ultimate achiever in the end.
